Impromptu choir in the Basilica
5 minutes walk from here is St Stephen’s Basilica so we just had to have a look around - even though there are just sooo many beautiful churches to see. Not only was it a beautiful building but we had a special treat - a choir came in for a rehearsal. The acoustics added something special to the religious music.

Hoping to return if we can book for the organ recital on Friday evening.

Went next to the Central Market - always a colourful experience - then back home on the No. 49.

Then out tonight to celebrate Helen & John’s wedding anniversary- delicious Hungarian food on the banks of the Danube with the Chain Bridge, Buda and The Royal Palace as backdrop.

We went to The Terror Museum next - no photos again, which is probably just as well. It’s a very moving exhibition describing the hell the population of Hungary went through under the Nazis and the Communists.
Need a break - need something to lighten the mood - so grabbed a nice lunch in a street cafe - typical Budapest: under umbrellas, people watching and absorbing the streetscape.
