Steam Fayre & Vintage Rally

What a weekend for Taunton - first the Flower Show, now the Steam Rally.  

I just loved the smells: of oily rags, coal burning for the steam engines, fresh sawdust from newly cut logs.  And the noise of engines chugging, whistles blowing and screaming wood saws.

More crowds, more hot sun and queues for ice cream and beer!  But as Fran said - attending the event today will tied us over for another 10 years - not something you need to repeat too often!

Fun just the same.
